I designed a website for FABSCRAP, a non-profit organization that provides recycling of textile waste for fashion and garment industry companies in New York City. FABSCRAP offers a service to pick-up, store, and direct fabric scraps for recycling or "upcycling".Visit FABSCRAP site
The web design process started with a questionnaire and subsequent interview to understand the service and gather requirements.
This was followed by the creation of a site map, wireframes, and style boards.
The design goal was to create a site that looks fresh and employs current web design trends, but does not visually compete or clash with any of the garment companies' own branding.
Although I initially built the site on the _scores WordPress theme, the client ultimately decided to host the site on Squarespace, so we customized a Squarespace template to meet her needs.Visit FABSCRAP site
